Pros

A good, well established company. Great ethical principals of how business is ran. People are treated with respect.

Cons

UPS uses something called MAPP process in order to promote people into managment. One must pass a special training course before being eligible for promotion. Also, being in the pool of holders of MAPP does not guarantee your future promotion. (You can be in it for 10-15 years) There are reasons for this, but it does limit the speed at which you can climb the corporate leader.

Pros

UPS does have some great benefits like fully covered health insurance (even for part timers), guaranteed hours, consistent schedule, 401k, pension, unionized.

Cons

The work is very physically demanding- literally back breaking. Management doesn't care about safety only production. We are always understaffed.
