      Pros

      Many really great and smart people and managers. Philanthropic organization that truly cares about the community and its customers.

      Cons

      Very strong corporate culture which still promotes old-school management style that was born out of the unionized labor force which limits innovation and creativity. Very little opportunity for career growth unless someone higher up retires. No technology experiments, just routine implementation of requirements based on customer demands.

      Pros

      Great Place to work. They make you a business partner through the management incentive program. I love working there. I even got a pension after 12 years of service

      Cons

      Lone working hours, holiday season takes away for job functions all hands are asked to make service which is understandable given the nature of the businesss

      Pros

      It is an alright job if you are looking for seasonal work. It is also a great start if you are looking to work full time with UPS. Many drivers started out as a driver helper. Some drivers are fun to work with. In some cases the driver will pick you up from your house every day and you will end up delivering in your neighborhood.

      Cons

      Since the economy is in the tank and there are plenty of people looking for work, they lowered the pay for the position from around $11 to just above minimum wage. They make you pay union dues, but what is the point of joining the union when you are only working there for 1-6 weeks. Also, some centers would pay more for their driver helpers than others, even though the centers were 20 miles apart.
