Pros

You get to say you work at UNICEF. Most co-workers a nice to work with.

Cons

UNICEF allows office bullying and harassment in the workplace. Some managers and staff are very abusive and insulting towards programme assistants for some reason. Maybe they think their work is more important and they are above the admin staff. If you report the office bullying and harassment to integrity, they do absolutely nothing to prevent or punish the people causing problems in the workplace. There is no job security for consultants.
