Pros

Respectable mandate and opportunities to work in different countries

Cons

Full of obnoxious and angry people, recruitment is totally opaque. There's absolutely no place for those who want to think out of the box. If you carry a family, you'll be mostly considered as a heavy burden for the organisation.

Pros

I work in a very team oriented environment in Cairo with extremely professional people that work together to get a very difficult job done with a very high volume of refugees per month. The supervisors are great and care about your success and the success of the mission. They will give you great feedback and help you as much as possible.

Cons

Coming from the U.S. and having to take a severe cut in salary as a local Egyptian employee rather than an international employee is very difficult. Hard to support a family in the U.S. on an Egyptian salary.
