Pros

UCLA is a great institution to work for. They have world renowned professors and state of art labs. It's really great to work here

Cons

Not many cons working here. The one major problem I will it is the too much bureaucracy and politics. I wish they will just leave the scientist and engineers do their work without been bug down with politics.

Pros

Numerous R&D projects, proximity to top medical center, many experts in their fields, great benefits

Cons

No real path to growth ... unless the manager is your personal friend; it is structured like any large corporation where things take time to get approved or changed (if at all);

Pros

I was a student worker while I was an undergrad at UCLA. I was a registration assistant and I loved it. My boss was amazing and so were the students and staff who worked there. The pay was definitely on the higher end compared to other students jobs -- especially the ones on campus. They worked around my class schedule, it was awesome.

Cons

The only thing that was bad was when the budget got cut so did all of the student hours. Not UCLA Extension's fault, just something that was a bummer about working there.
