UCLA delivers on its mission of providing cutting edge research, academics, and public service. It was exciting to be a part of that mission. Wonderful professional development opportunities and resources for all employees can be found throughout campus. Excellent benefits!

Cons

If you don't already live on the westside, the commute can be a nightmare, and particularly challenging if the department in which you work does not have flexible hours or an understanding boss. Parking can also be a challenge if you arrive later in the day.

1) maybe not the best place in the world at specific departments 2) some people might not like the city and/or its culture. Not like their home country.
