Pros

The students at this institution are exceptional. In my professional capacity, I have mentored and taught many of them through industry internships, and they consistently show great promise and talent.

Cons

The administrative and departmental respect for applicants' time is nonexistent. There is a jarring disconnect between the "prestige" of the university and the lack of basic professional courtesy shown to those in the field. It is disappointing that an institution that prides itself on excellence fails to execute a simple automated "search concluded" email to candidates who have invested hours into their application.
