The kids in Tulsa are the best and getting to build relationships with them is so rewarding.

Cons

The pay is horrible, there’s very few good or prepared educators in most buildings. Many teachers quit within 5 years because of unsupportive administrators.

The Librarians across TPS are a very cohesive unit. Despite being the only one in our building, I don't feel alone because my PLC is right there on Teams anytime. Working with kids is a joy

Salary step increases do not keep up with inflation We have to teach computer science curricula in the elementary level now
