Pros

casual workplace. people are nice usually, even though working conditions are deplorable and and morale is really low. in production, people work 12+ days, several days a week. while this was a really awful job, having pleasant co-workers made it marginally more tolerable.

Cons

working in production was definitely like working in a white-collar sweatshop. there is no such thing as work-life balance. the job itself isn't hard but the workload is unwieldy and management rarely steps in to help someone struggling to complete their days work or show any interest in letting someone go home on time. if you seem to be working at a comfortable pace without being overwhelmed, a second later you will be handed more work that day and will end up staying in the office until 8/9 p.m. what was really miserable to witness was how trainers acted towards new PMs. during training period, which lasts 3 months on average, the more experienced project managers tend to be condescending to newer folks and strict and overbearing. i don't think new people (recent college grads especially) should be publicly shamed for missing commas or replying to emails incorrectly. scores of PMs quit in 6 months to a year and go on to be really happy elsewhere. outside of the office social events are just really boozey. pretty off-putting.

Pros

I enjoyed some colleagues that I "trained" with. Unfortunately, many either quit or were let go within a short period of time. (3-6months)

Cons

i. The most unprofessional and inexperienced management I have ever worked with. ii. High-stress without reward - many work 10 hour days. iii. LOW salary.

Pros

You can make a lot of money ONLY if you are in sales and know how to "work" the system.

Cons

After seeing all bad reviews for the last year and half, and I'm not surprised to all of a sudden see almost a dozen positive reviews from sales people in the last week. The executives here will do anything to make themselves look good - even if it means mandating their sales people to write reviews to help raise their rating. Notice the only positive reviews are from sales people. This is because in this company, sales is king (I used to be in sales too, but the downright unethical culture and incompetent and petty micromanagement turned me off) - it is the only thing that matters, and the only thing they care about is growing the company at all costs. Production people (project managers, linguists, etc.) are the scum of the earth, and sales people are allowed to walk all over them. As other reviews have said, the turnover of employees in production is very high - they believe there will always be new college grads (read: inexperienced!) to lure into their sweatshop trap, so if the word is finally out and they're having trouble finding people to hire, it doesn't surprise me that they're using the good ratings they get from salespeople to improve their rating.
