      Some good managers. Mostly bad, though.

      really low pay With a few exceptions, managers don't care about you. boiler room-like hours and feel. huge turnover

      I had solid experience working in the industry but working at TransPerfect put me off working in it ever again.

      Pros

      Great colleagues working at the same level as me.

      Cons

      If you show competence the company pushes you to the absolute limit making you regret demonstrating that competence. The company tries to badger you working unpaid overtime at weekends doing work that's not even for your department. Unpaid overtime during the week is the norm. When you first join the company they will claim you will get a £3k payrise after the first year but this turns out to be £1k only.

      Pros

      Management are consummate salespeople, not great trainers but great to learn from if you're smart and self-motivated.

      Cons

      Echoing a lot of the other reviews on this site; poor management from top down, over promise on compensation, unfair commission structure (fine you for everything), required to work long hours without being paid, require you to be accessible via Mobile including emails on phone but don't pay for data plan. Stay away.
