Pros

Paid training for the new hire. Work from home. 15 holidays per year.

Cons

Need higher speed internet and a good computer to work with them but no reimbursement. Expensive Insurance for dependants. No sick days. Your supervisor calls you all the time for itty bitty things.

Pros

None whatsoever at all.

Cons

Bosses play favourites. Abusive management and if not abusive, sheep managers that do not stand up for their teams. If you want to work at a place where you get name called and taken advantage of, or have managers lie to you and blame you for everything so they look better, come work here. Office being taken over by outsourced resources. All new hires not from Montreal office due to sweatshop mentality. Don’t speak up or they find ways to get rid of you. Completely abusive workplace.

Pros

- They hire you with no experience in the field and train you - They are pretty flexible when you want to take days off, usually only a week notice - You bond with colleagues because you all go through the same stress

Cons

- You work really long hours 9-10hs a day with no compensation. - There is a crazily high turnover: most PM’s stay no longer than 12 months - The structure of the company is designed in a way that project managers are always to blame if something goes wrong (if Sales gave you the wrong instructions, it’s your fault as a PM for not double checking) - You are always covering your back and compiling evidence (e-mails) so you can show it was not your fault when something goes wrong - Stress level can be extremely high, I got colleagues who used to go to the toilet and cry every now and then -
