Pros

None. It’s a terrible place. I promise you listen to the bad reviews. The positive reviews are being left by the company to cover up. Please in the name of God avoid this company

Cons

Because they either paid for them or HR is leaving them to reel you in. In short.. it is a TERRIBLE place to work. Especially to my internationals that need sponsorship. They will OVERWORK you and wave the sponsorship in your face and later tell you they won’t sponsor you. They will use you to make some money especially Africans and work you up till you leave. THEY WILL NEVER SPONSOR YOU. Also my manager a an American woman with blond hair in life sciences.. RUN. Also the micro managing will drive you crazy. I beg you if you ever get an interview opportunity with this company RUN. Listen to the negative reviews, please listen to them. I am currently in the process of suing the company for negligence due to how I was treated. It is that bad. Please don’t work here. I remember there was a week 7 people left.. I couldn’t believe it. It’s that bad please don’t work here if you love your mental health

Pros

-You will develop a tough skin. Anything that has to do with your project is on you whether it’s your fault or not. -You will appreciate the cosmopolitan work force that exists at this place. I still have friends worldwide from here and had the opportunity to visit different offices. -You and your teammates will be bonded for life. Based on the fact, you know what hell is and survived it. -It is on you on how you climb the ladder. It was only through hard work and most importantly, results, I was able to climb. -Everyone in the industry and outside the industry will be InMailing you after 2-3 years because they know you are good.

Cons

-Repeat after me, this company only cares about profits and results. -There is allot more backstabbing than most people realize. -This is not a company for DEI candidates. It is still a sorority and fraternity frat house. -Sales is valued over production. -There is little privacy when it comes to gossip and confidentiality. I would always here top confidential information on the elevator or in the restrooms. Watch out what you say around people. -Upper Management abuses. The IT department once had to do one of the SVP’s invitations for a PTA meeting and help out with their kid’s homework. It’s true and more than happy to take a lie detector test because I saw it with my own eyes. -The level of abuse is degrading. HR does not care because who is going to win against Phil. -When you resign, you will be a traitor to the company and people will try to find out where you are working. TPT has sued various ex employees over the years and has spied on alumni.

Pros

Good office location Free fruits and coffee Good stepping stone for fresh graduates

Cons

Super micromanaging: You will be watched by your lead all time because it’s their job is to monitor your daily work and constantly give you “feedback”; I was asked to give updates to my lead 2-3 times a day to let them know my progress; Each of us need to send our manager an End-Of-Day spreadsheet that logs your working hours and the jobs we’ve worked on that day. Repetitive and tiring work which you have to be hold 100% accountable: Besides managing jobs and sending mass emails to vendors, most of your time would be spent on final-eyeing translated documents that you don’t even know the language, or fixing the ugly formatting of the files, and you are expected to deliver them to the client with zero mistakes. These QA work could be done by externals but the the company wants to avoiding costs so they are exploiting the PMs. Unmanageable workload: You are expected to work overtime everyday. The managers’ tactic is to test everyone’s limit until it lead people to burnout, instead of hiring enough staff. Low salary; The amount they pay the linguists who are actually create the work is a joke.
