      Ingersoll Rand has all the perks of a large company and all the negatives of a large company.

      Good job of promoting within the organization. As with most large global companies there is plenty of room for advancement.

      Cons

      Leadership can be disconnected from the field. The culture of IR offices in different locations can be very different. Finance department is king at ingersoll rand.

      Upper management spend their days looking for ways to get rid of the employees under them that aren't their buddies; encourages fraternization outside of work and punishes those who aren't interested; advancement is based on who you know and are buddies with, not what you can do.

      Working in Ingersoll Rand is challenging, interesting and definitely not boring. We all share a passion for our Products and there is a long and consolidated relationship with our Distributors, which it shows how the Company has valued their input over the years.

      Cons

      Having worked in Finance, I believe the Company should invest on product Training for this sector has in some cases they seem to be not fully aware of what our products can do!
