The 'continuous improvement' program (Kaizen) encourages workers to submit ideas to improve costs, safety, environment etc. and get paid for it. Since people want to get a little extra cash, the submissions are mostly nonsense that start locking people into a certain lifestyle they created themselves -- such as lining up specific chairs with table sides to improve organization. The environment becomes micromanaged based on the most mundane tasks.
Speaking of micromanagement, this place is the definition. The environment is extremely stressful, degrading to morale (no morale exists at the company) and no place to advance in your career (actually will take you a step back with knowledge).
The pay in the office is set to absolute minimum. All risk, no reward system.
