80+ Hours/week and because you are salary your expected to pull every hour the store is open because they are always short handed. Upper management shows up when you’re scheduled off but expect you to come in. In my case, if you have to leave to go do chemo for 2 goes and come back, you’re not dedicated enough to your job. Don’t even imagine a family life. They throw people in these stores that have no clue how to run a shop because they have sales experience. Parts people CAN NOT run a shop if they aren’t aware of how the parts actually work. They expect you to hit 6k/day numbers with 2 techs with 1 tech only knowing basic maintenance. They scream “if you need help just ask” but when you ask, they are so unbelievably condescending. You are placed in a role saying we will give you all the training you need but no one is ever actually trained. They expect you to also help run any other local store when they are down on people but tell you not to allow your store to fall.

Favoritism towards those who make the most money and have been here the longest. They get to slack off and pass off work when we’re super busy and are allowed to sit down and talk
