Pros

- Some very smart engineers to learn from - Some of the clients are interesting

Cons

- Cult like management, Client Leadership Teams (CLT) - Promotions and pay increases are mutually exclusive, you are better off getting promoted with a raise elsewhere - 100% beholden to client's ways of working, belief system. Engagements feel like staff augmentation. - So much lip service about DEI, harmony, inclusion, etc but it's a publicly traded company trying to make money. They will, and have, furlough you, belittle you, lay you off in an instant.

Pros

- Salary - Some benefits like food, juice etc Honestly nothing beyond this.

Cons

- Just the environment to start with. Its highly unprofessional. They seem to think they are out of sky just by being unprofessional. - Clumsy workplaces (literally 8-10 people sitting around in a table filled with bags and wires and other accessories). - Any one can talk anything to customers and give any commitments and later say they gave no commitments. So many sleepless nights only to deliver what some brain dead person has committed. - Full of arrogant loudmouths who keep on talking just because they can talk and it gets rewarded here in TW for some strange reason. - In the name of job rotation, techies are made HR professionals. They display no empathy, personal connect with people. A case being an architect given HR management responsibility. Most arrogant and cunning person. Shows no remorse in circumventing the HR policies - eg: exit interviews are standard while exiting. However, if you are not on the good people list, exit interviews doesn't apply for you so that your opinions dont get registered. - People champions should defend the people. Here, they are dumbest of all people and cannot put forth their ideas because they have no experience in people management. I can add lot more. However, summary is, as lateral, you will not feel respected here. Your life is much better if you dont join. Best of luck.

Pros

- Dynamic environment: get to work with different technologies. - Get to work with some smart people. - Faster advancement in grades: you can get seniors with only 3 years experience. - Good healthcare benefits and personal development budget. - Very inclusive workplace. - Lots of freedom. - Lots of free snacks and food. - TW seems to still hold a good reputation for outsiders.

Cons

- Low pay compared to market: many people leave and then return to get a higher salary because the pay increases are very little each year. - Lots of office politics: do not expect to advance if you do not know anyone. Lots of senior people are only there because of their internal connections. - Recent hiring has lowered their standards: TW seem to be hiring just to fill numbers. Seems like there is a lot of unnecessary hiring when there are always a lot of people on the 'beach' i.e. not on projects. - Lots of smart people are leaving. - Leniency has meant a lot of people have started to slack and not be as motivated. - Lack of communication and structure/processes: everyone has a different understanding of processes in place. - Staffing decisions are made last minute: very unorganised staffing procedures. Also don't expect to have much say in where you are going unless you are very senior or know people. - Not as they advertise: there is not as much work in social justice or disrupting technology as they claim. - TW does not live up to its reputation anymore.
