It's a job. More pleasant and cleaner than fast food for what it's worth. Small business environment (since most stores are franchised) may either be a blessing or a nightmare depending on the owner(s) and management.

Cons

Extremely hectic and high-pressure work environments. Job responsibilities are more or less everything to do in such stores. Experience can vary wildly by franchise management. Arguably greater work stress and responsibility than comparable retail jobs for significantly less pay.

Easy job with wide variety of tasks, flexible with requested time off,

Cons

Hours are cut in half during summer because they have college kids work during summer, low pay rate, micromanaging/favoritism, schedule is given sometimes as late as Sunday for the following week.
