Pros
The Primary School is the best place that I have ever worked. Everyone here is smart, thoughtful, kind, and hard working. I come to work every day excited to see my coworkers. People are genuinely interested to hear how you're doing. There's also a lot of laughing and humor in the office, which makes stressful days more fun!
There is also a lot of autonomy and trust; I really admire my manager as a leader, particularly in her ability to support my work while also giving me the space to make decisions and try new ideas. I think this is true across the organization.
The mission and vision of the school is also very bold and inspiring. We are deeply invested in the children and families we work with, and committed to sharing this model with other schools across the country. Because of the people who work here, this big dream feels achievable.
Cons
We are in a phase of a ton of growth, and I think a lot of us have been feeling some of those growing pains. There's still more we can do to clarify roles and responsibilities and make sure we're all focusing on the same goals. I know that our leadership takes these concerns seriously and is taking steps to work on these challenges.
