It’s a corporation, focused more on making money than actually giving a good service, which is sad. It’s a machine. There are no solutions, just routine filling of positions for a corporate law firm that needs to make a lot of money despite not having enough lawyers to take care of the cases they have.

Despicable all around. Pay is bad, benefits are bad. The owner does not care at all about anything and shows up maybe once every 2 years. the staff has no idea what is going on. No one helps anyone. The HR department is completely incompetent and treats its own attorneys and employees like garbage. The "higher level" attorneys do whatever they want and treat everyone else like second class citizens. You get no holidays off. if you do take PTO it's a huge deal and you have to bow at your HR overlord's feet to have it granted. No respect, no dignity, nothing.
