Pros

When I was hired back in 2015, the company was amazing, best retail company I have ever worked for! The pay was great, management was involved and actually cared, and the energy was something you couldn't find anywhere else in this industry.

Cons

I left the company in Aug 2015 because I was relocating and returned to the company in Mar 2016 and it was as if it was two different companies. You were lucky to get 10 hours in one week and no matter how many times you asked management to help you out and that you couldn't pay bills, they just wouldn't listen to you. The worst part is that the management didn't care at all about employees and they never had an answer to why this was happening. Management at my store would just string you along and say "Hang tight, it will get better" but in the 6 months I stayed it was just getting worse. The training, which was something this company used to pride their self on, was completely absent. I got maybe 10 hours of training but was never trained on registers or OP which to the old TCS would have been unacceptable. The pay freeze and no more 401k matching was the last straw for many people and we had a lot of people quit over a few months. The store quality also totally tanked as they weren't scheduling anyone for Merchandising so there was nothing on the shelves and the store was dusty as hell. Customers would get very frustrated with the lack of enough employees to do sales and carryout so customers yelling at employees was a common sight. Also management at my store I feel didn't make the best business decisions and handled the whole predicament poorly. For example, you would look at the schedule and there were employees who had 25 hours and new employees and others with just 5 hours. Wouldn't you think if there was a lack of hours you would try to evenly distribute them so everyone had a fair chance at a good check? Then if they did give you an extra shift or two, most likely they would call you the day before and cut the shift.
