      Pros

      Respect of all employee's and their contributions to the business. There is high energy in the stores and everyone cares about doing a good job.

      Cons

      You walk a lot of miles in a day. :) This can get tiring after a long day, especially if you are not used to it, but by the next day I am always ready to go again.

      The employees will always be the best reasons to work for The Container Store. There are some amazingly passionate people at the company who really strive to teach and build up their fellow coworkers and to give the best service possible to The Container Store's customers.

      The current economy is a real challenge for all retailers and The Container Store is no exception. The streamlining and innovations that will result from these lean years will benefit the company in the long run.

      +Great employee discount. 40% off regularly priced items, 50% off Elfa products, discounted gift card purchases. +Very organized about everything, communication, store policies, etc. +Health and dental benefits available to part-time associates +Excellent benefits for full-time employees

      Cons

      -Very difficult to become a full-time employee -Very hard to advance within the company. -Standard retail downfalls, holidays, odd schedules, etc..
