      Pros

      Respect of all employee's and their contributions to the business. There is high energy in the stores and everyone cares about doing a good job.

      Cons

      You walk a lot of miles in a day. :) This can get tiring after a long day, especially if you are not used to it, but by the next day I am always ready to go again.

      Pros

      great merchandise, great employee discounts, great co workers, good place if you need a place to work while you look for another job or to work part time at in addition to another job.

      Cons

      They are better than other retailers-which isn't saying much since retail is such a bad workplace unless you are at the top getting all those big bonuses. Yet, don't get too excited about this place. They tell you the world-including that you have a career there--but it's really bogus. If you want to marry the Container Store and have it be your whole life -then you'll do fine. If you want both a life and a job--fuggetah bout it.

      The employees will always be the best reasons to work for The Container Store. There are some amazingly passionate people at the company who really strive to teach and build up their fellow coworkers and to give the best service possible to The Container Store's customers.

      Cons

      The current economy is a real challenge for all retailers and The Container Store is no exception. The streamlining and innovations that will result from these lean years will benefit the company in the long run.
