Fast Paced and co workers make the container store the place to work! You are well trained and there is a true sense of family.

Cons

Full time positions and/or an average of 40 hour work week. The shifts can vary from 5am to Midnight.

The original culture has been lost. So called conscious capitalism is a platitude uttered by the CEO to justify pretty standard business shenanigans. prattled on about their love for their employees as long as they can exploit the PR. , meanwhile I watched them cut P/T employees hours to the point where they had to leave. The next week they were hiring new employees. This practice was referred to as" managing out "

Pros

The message the company sends to all employees is a great one--employee first culture, take care of our customers. The company has a good bit of room for growth with only having 65 or so stores, but is very selective about its markets. This is a good thing. this selection has yielded some of the best retail customers you can find. Growth will happen. I

Cons

The message sometimes gets muddled through layers of management, (especially those not seasoned in the company) their attitudes and outside hiring practices. This leads to losing bits and pieces of a great company culture.
