Pros

The vibe and energy of TCS employees is generally very positive, which makes the work environment great. The pay is also above industry standards, and they provide great training.

Cons

They do force the company culture down your throat a little. It's definitely important that everyone knows and understands the company culture, but there are some points you almost feel like you're joining some sort of cult. There's also no room for any movement or additional hours as a part time employee, which means you're either all in or you're not.

Good starting salary. Store clean and bright. Nice Customers.

Cons

Employees treated very poorly, by direct management. Told first day by another employee "watch your back". Most shifts were understaffed so you literally were doing three people's jobs. Employees seemed to get how hostile environment was, a real air of "can you believe this" existed. Sad because everyone said TCS used to be a good place to work. No longer! You don't dare speak up because you will pay the price.

Great products, wonderful company philosophy (foundation principles), excellent discount, above par coworkers.

Cons

Favoritism & nepotism. Schedules are never posted on time. Managers tend to hide in their offices. Hours are being cut because we can't "make our numbers" Register sales people are expected to capture email addresses from EVERY customer. Email capture percentages are posted in the break room and you will be in trouble if yours drops below 50% Role playing at huddle is silly at best. You need to be prepared to drink the koolaid if you want to work here.
