      Very Disappointed in The Container Store Executive Management

      Smart, hard-working employees. Pleasant work environment

      It is mind boggling that The Container Store continues to remain open (as of this date, March 30, 2020), while all around the U.S. stores and restaurants have been closed for a number of weeks. No one NEEDS these products and the people in management making the decisions are risking the lives of their employees and everyone who enters the store - and why even give the stupid among us who continue to shop the the opportunity! I will squarely put the blame on The Container Store should even one of their employees contract COVID-19. Shameful!!

      Beware of a female employee who sexually harasses other female coworkers and wouldn’t take no for an answer. She openly touches employees inappropriately by kissing and hugging and grabbing them. She’s extremely intense and obsessed by saying I love you and writing love notes. Management is sweeping this under the rug and are aware of the problem. That’s why there’s no HR because they think this female employee is doing the right thing. Here, no one ever gets fired because the company refuses to pay unemployment benefits.

      They want to "want" to be great.

      Cons

      They ask their employees to do the job of 3 good people which = 1 great person. All that happens is that a great person ends of doing 3 things ok because you dont have the time or resources to handle more. They dont have professional growth opportunities. You dont know what role is next to work towards and they dont either. Their employees, for the most part, have then there for YEARS and in the same positions that they started.
