Pros

Great products - even though I no longer get the employee discount, I still use the products. Fun environment. Great company values - the Body Shop is known for being ethically responsible and does great work with charities and public policy issues.

Cons

While this may not be the case now, the area stores and the management in stores were in a state of transition. It made working stressful and confusing.

Values driven, Community Service, Great employee discounts and benefits, Green Company, Innovative and body butters are fantastic and customers love it!

Cons

some areas do not have as much support as other areas, customers that do not know our values

Pros

great products, annual contest at Christmas includes part time employees, customers are not just looking for discounts. No required overtime for store managers.

Cons

I was dismayed by the changes the company made in marketing. Even though shop employees are not allowed to 'sell to the sale', anytime US sales started to trend down, marketing would announce a sale. Staffing is slowed down by corporate requirements. Too many stores are left under staff for too long.
