Pros

Minimal micromanagement, remote friendly, somewhat decent starting pay. Work-life balance is ok.

Cons

Where to start... this is probably the most disorganized large-scale company I have every worked for in my decade-long career. Worked there for multiple years without a single raise. This is the definition of a dead-end job, with zero culture and a major lack of growth opportunities. Huge lack of innovation and any suggestions for improvements are immediately shut down most of the time to where everyone just keeps their heads down. Everything takes forever to be approved (usually months for things that would normally get approved in minutes at other companies), with constant hour-long meetings (or 9-hour work retreat meetings) where nothing gets accomplished and could have just been an email. The software systems the company uses are extremely outdated and disorganized to the point of being detrimental to productivity. Analytics live in dozens of different places to the point where no one knows what data to trust for reports. Teams are extremely siloed to the point where no one knows what anyone else is doing and work in contradiction to each other, which constantly halts projects and removes trust between teams. Higher management is clueless on what is going on and sets unreasonable expectations. Lots of people are also extremely unqualified for their job and don't know how to use basic systems or how to properly collaborate with others, yet are usually the ones being rewarded. The benefits are also not great and the severance packages for being laid off are extremely low for the industry (even if you're high tenured) to the point of being insulting. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere, unless you want your soul crushed.
