      Too much political distraction

      Pros

      Good benefit package with generous vacation time (4 weeks - inherited the French). Good bonus amount in place of lower than average salary. There're some real talented people working here.

      Cons

      Lots of politcal games. Despite being in the business for a long time, their software department was never matured nor organized. They focus a lot of on empty processes. Directors were being rotated constantly. The current one is really bad and caused a lot of people leaving. Abusive management never got let go. There's also a constant struggle between local software group and the counterpart from parent company in France.

      Employees are regarded as an important human resource given good respect and treatment. Work is progressed through a well defined systematic structure.

      Cons

      There is limitations on resources due to tight budget. Sometimes there is a lack of equipments, platforms, or test beds which may hinder the quality and speed of work.
