I worked for Thales at their site in Leicester, I was gutted when they relocated all of their operations to Crawley and closed the Leicester site, in the year since leaving I am yet to find a company with such a great atmosphere, great staff, family feel etc, I miss the xmas raffle, parties, Diwali celebrations. I wonder if Leicester was unique in this way ? Thales as a company offer good routes for progression, pay rises, appraisals and courses, 27 days holiday plus options to purchase more holiday, discounts with petrol companies and retailers, good pension etc. Great company to work for

Challenges of my position were with dealing with customers who's work had not been completed on time.
