Pros

There are no pros at all

Cons

This place is hell. You get overworked by musk, who knows literally nothing about science or engineering. For example, he knows nothing about manufacturing and yet claims to be the "world's expert." This complete fool could not pass a middle school math exam and yet he is claiming to be some kind of genius. He is also incredibly racist and misogynistic. It just shows how far the world has gone in normalizing the praise of CEOs that do not have any actual skills and only got lucky so many times that they somehow landed in a position of power. They all just fall upwards and take away from people who actually have meaningful lives.

Pros

Decent benefits if you’re able to use then

Cons

They do not care about you. The company as a whole is all about “yes men” to Elon. Ask too many questions or don’t be robotic and you’re not going to fit in. You get decent time off if you can actually get it approved. They watch your social media like hawks and nitpick everything. No sense of privacy at all. Some times you aren’t allowed OT and others it’s required. You have zero say in this. Impossible to meet goals in given timeframes. Ask for OT and it gets denied or you’ll be written up. Don’t meet the goal and you get written up. Solution? Work off the clock and give Tesla free labor. Multiple of us in the office I worked in did this to keep our jobs. Be a robot. That’s what Tesla wants. Someone with no family, no life, no desires to move up, no questions. If that’s you then Tesla is the perfect fit.
