Pros

The training and international exposure is phenomenal! The concept of primary and secondary supervision has its good sides. The organisation is very averse to failure and would push employees to their limit all the time. A reasonable level of job security!

Cons

Many of the commercial Managers have a very strong "blame culture" where they refuse to take responsibility for their failings and rather look for a sacrificial lamb to lay the blame on... There is the presence of an obvious "cartel" which only favours employees who have some senior managers looking out for them and so they get growth opportunities. The every day employee who works hard to meet and possibly exceed his objectives would still be pulled down based on some flimsy reasons. There is a dominate discrimination based on age! There also a very high level of inequality in the organisation based on remuneration structure and the HR system is too secretive thereby keeping employees in the dark about a lot of things...

Pros

I'm working for Tenaris, full time, for one year in a very challenging and dynamic environment. You always have the opportunity to prove your dedication and capabilities. If you show potential, for sure you will be promoted.

Cons

You can get a raise based on your performance review, which is quite transparent, but it may take a while. Some times stressful situations occur, combined with bad work&life balance.

Pros

Production and results oriented. Company makes a good product and provides good benefits and pay to its employees.

Cons

Political upper management. Terrible at providing incentives for workers on the production floor. If a plant performs well, upper managements response is to up the production standards and expect more. This causes operators to not want to exceed or reach the starndards that the industrial group provides and stagnates improvement.
