Pros

Health insurance and 401K Covered Parking Lots of places to eat lunch near the building if you work at the galleria office

Cons

I could write an entire diatribe here, but it would be a waste of my time, and I have already wasted a couple of years of my life working here, so it will suffice to say that you should just avoid coming to work here at all cost unless it is absolutely your only option,.

Challenging but potentially rewarding

Pros

Extensive learning tools through Tenaris University; an in-house department within HR focused on training via e-learning courses, video tutorials from management and third party courses. The global reach of the company is an advantage for those willing to work above and beyond what would be considered acceptable in most companies. However, if you are willing to make that effort, the rewards are there. Highly analytical environment, with incredibly intelligent and capable people.

Cons

Your competency and capacity to execute your job is necessary but not sufficient for meaningful growth in the company. You must also become well positioned politically within the organization, which is highly challenging if you are not Argentine or Italian. This is easily verifiable from publicly available information of the company's leadership. Highly analytical environment to a fault. Many cases of paralysis from analysis. The organization is heavily micro-managed as a whole, given the detail oriented nature of the CEO who is very much aware of almost everything.

Pros

Overall good company to work for in terms of longevity, they do offer wide training but not much hands on

Cons

The overall experience is ok but getting to that point is a long one. The training system and Tenaris is a long one and they throw you out that with little of it and expect you to perform from small classes but with help from current employees you somehow survive eventually. Also it very hard to climb the ladder in this company because the promote mainly Argentinans over qualifications
