Teladoc Health reviews

Traumatic silent layoffs being done in small batches almost every week. As employees, Thursdays and Fridays are days when you'd never know if your head is on the chopping block. It has been this way since January 2023 up to time of writing (June 2025). Layoffs are quietly done so the company does not have to announce publicly. Typically, employees impacted are some of the most productive contributors - the ones left behind are the favorites of executives. There is no turning this sinking ship around because the ones left behind are just echo chambers of each others' egos.

One reason I quit was because patients got ridiculous. They were people with complex histories / on a lot of medications, that for theyre safety needed to be seen in person. Then some patients were super demanding and would cry and scream- really abusive behavior- which I felt bad telling them I was going to hang up but nobody deserves that level of rudeness. And it would be over silly things- especially like telling them (in a very polite way) that they didnt really need an antibiotic. THAT was every other phone call. And then they'd rate you poorly on the survey which Teladoc does not like. They send you these reports every month and if patients arent rating you highly, then you're in the dog house. I'd look at patients' past phone calls and see that other docs had given out antibiotics like candy, so it makes sense why these patients were mad at me.
