Salary is very bed at tata steel for Diploma and increment is very slow,no promotion,Your performance will not be count in your future growth.Union culture is not good.

Spends too much on other things rather than caring own employee, doesn't have any plan for career progression life stucks in ns 7 and il4 level, needs good connections afterwards rather than knowledge and experience. Low salary standards to current industry trends (considering an MT from an elite college) pay structure highly varies from layer to layer of management (first 2 are of different league, 3rd one is different and rest 3 will be getting hope and peanuts.) company is in declining phase, cigar era is over yet top management is not able to recognize it and they are over confident about the company. Expectations from tata steel is something different and company behaving is different manner. Had one bad experience of arrogance of on boarding team while joining, many of the people are having superiority complex. Having all kind of policies and rules which sometimes prevents innovation within.
