Pros

Some team members are friendly and helpful. You get breaks and they pay you on time. The systems in place - if staffed properly, with good leadership, and given functioning tools - will run smoothly.

Cons

Management. When I started at Target I envisioned myself moving up the ladder and trying to become a leader at my store. I truly enjoyed the job. As things progressed, my opinion of the store almost completely deteriorated. Leadership at my store is a huge issue. Our store is hemorrhaging workers because hours are constantly being cut, there is no recognition, and no room for growth. Instead of hiring from within and promoting workers who understand the store and work hard, they hire random people with no idea how the store works or how to lead.
