Pros

- the starting pay is $15, which is decent for other retail jobs - some days are slow (in in a smaller area) - some good coworkers - 4-8 hr range schedule - on-demand option - kinda flexible (with the right managers) - overall the work is easy, not a hard job to do - 5% discount

Cons

- after the holiday season hrs dry up so quick. can be hard for on demand workers to get hrs and even full/part time - management can be iffy, some people are really nice and others… have their moments - when it’s busy, it’s BUSY - understaffed - management is not on the same page sometimes - q4

Pros

Nice co-workers at my location, your mileage may vary. Most of the team leads at my store started as team members so there is some room to move up, although how often people move up to ETLs, I don't know.

Cons

They're trying to save money by not staffing the stores, You will be asked to do the the work three people could do in three 8-hour shifts. But you will have 6 hours to do it by yourself. Every day. They continue to hire more part-time people, even though existing people who are asking for full-time are getting 28-30 hours per week. Good people don't stay long, and Target seems to like it that way. In-store leadership has nothing to offer to try to retain us except sincere thank yous.
