Pros

You can have great work life balance , free healthy lunch, pleasant work place.

Cons

When it's about salaries just like all IT companies ,Target also goes with regular rules instead of looking at individual talent and contribution.

Pros

Target has really stepped up its game when it comes to putting technology in the forefront. We're doing a good job at keeping up with the latest technologies while not creating too much churn. Work-life balance is outstanding. It's very rare if I work more than 40 hours a week. Benefits are average for a large corporation - good enough.

Cons

Like any big company, it sometimes feels like your hard work isn't always recognized financially. Management tells us HR is making changes to enable smaller incremental increases more often, but I have yet to see that in practice. Big picture life is good, but day-to-day can be frustrating at times if you're someone who wants things done the right way. Some developers only do what it takes to make it work.
