Pros

Great co-workers and a great atmosphere to work in with great opportunities to advance for those who at least try a little in their job. I love going into work every day!

Cons

The pay for an HR team member is terrible. They start out at the same rate as some sales floor team members while being expected to do triple the work.

Pros

Target has a really fast, fun, and friendly, culture which is mostly driven by its strong employment branding. Target also allowed for flexible scheduling and 3 weeks of vacation which was nice.

Cons

Working in a struggling market is never easy. Seemed to be a lack of clear strategic vision from the 'higher ups' and it seemed like we were always having to re-invent the wheel, instead of sticking to fundamentals.

Pros

Great benefits, great place to work, wonderful experiences. The team environment can be very strong and inclusive. A lot of great guest speakers.

Cons

Your day to day is incredibly dependent on who your buyer is... they can make or break your experience. Target continually changes this role, very hard to get a grip on expectations.
