Pros

Development, fun team/culture. It's a great place to work. As a manager, I've been able to influence our store culture directly. My new boss is awesome!

Cons

Not enough hours in the day, because I'm not salary, I don't always feel like there's enough time to take care of my responsibilities. Can't get promoted without a degree. Training is short and doesn't cover everything we need.

Pros

Started off great with big promises, in-depth training in the States, follow-up training back here in Montreal. Before the stores opened, it was great. Everyone believed in the company and it was exactly what their slogan said: fast, fun, and friendly.

Cons

When the nightmare started happening: when we entered the stores. When nightmare got worse: when we opened the stores. What was their solution for a failing company, with no profits, with zero resources to help out stores? Very unprofessional "budget-cutting" by reducing by half the amount of managers per store. Very dirty work by upper management, invalid excuses, zero transparency, and zero appreciation for any of your hard work of 70+ hours/week. Basically: worst company I've ever seen, so much dirty work from the district it makes me sick to my stomach.
