Pros

The development that they give to the executives that they see as having potential. I have spent countless hours, days and weeks working on my personal development in classes, with upper leadership and through self-reflection

Cons

The enormous pressure from upper leadership and the politics of the business

Pros

The salary is pretty good especially if you can work it out between opening new stores and getting training finished to advance pay grades. The managment on-going training is good and some of it is really helpful. If don't mind working hard and long hours it pays to work there

Cons

Beware of work-life balance. There is very little advancement without degree. Some brown nosing is required to get in good to move around and up. Could be a decent or bad experience depending on your boss.

Pros

From my experience if you are practical can drive results and can think on your feet. Target is willing to compensate and move you very far along.

Cons

The every other weekend schedule can get very old and somewhat dealings with bad hires. You get all levels of motivation and compensation and so you have to be able to talk to anyone and get them on your side.
