Great people, great values, great company...but not the best location

Pros

Friendly people. Fast-paced. Strong values and morals. A nice community. Almost like a grown up college.

Cons

Headquarters in Midwest. Sometimes not as direct in feedback or feelings. A little too "PC" culture for an East Coaster.

Pros

The team members were great to work with. The store is kept relatively clean and conditions are safe. Working for Target is an excellent opportunity for recent college grads. It is excellent experience.

Cons

The ability to do your job doesn't seem as important as being able to "speak to it". It seems more important to be able to give a good verbal presentation than to actually have a well running operation that has satisfied employees and is very profitable. The employees have way too much work that is required of them which will lead to burn out. This is because in order to keep making a profit the company has needed to trim down which has involved staff cuts.
