Pros

Great atmosphere, teamwork, and overall variety of exposure to many businesses. Great training programs to help bring on externals as well as new grads.

Cons

Highly controlled and micromanaged from middle management. Lots of red tape here, the mantra being "expect no for an answer at least three times before listening to your idea".

Pros

Solid brand Consistent culture throughout company Smart, talented coworkers A company that is truly out to do the right thing, but does not always succeed. Great place to launch a career and build your leadership skills. Great processes and procedures in place. Very inclusive environment for field leaders.

Cons

Highly political, difficult to trust your partners and peers Leadership is placed on a pedestal, creating an atmosphere of fear in the stores Some long time leaders are allowed to "linger", even though they are not respectful of their team I was proud to work for the company, but my leader did not have personal integrity and it was either not understand or just not dealt with.
