Pros

Onboarding in Seattle was a nice trip (poor training though) Good products Nice London office - free food kitchen etc. Great if you want to graze at your desk all day and put on loads of weight. mmmmm cannot think of anymore Reasonable guarantee for first few months but still does not make up for cons below... Good place to learn the basics if this is your 1st sales job.

Cons

Dreadful compensation package - massively below market rates....NO CAR Allowance for a start, LOW basic salaries - you will only be told this once you have spent weeks interviewing so ask upfront and do not waste your time interviewing. Long interview process - learn the product demo it etc...you really must like BI and Data to work here and you MUST be prepared to demo the product yourself and know it technically. I personally found it dull and the amount of hype around their product is quite tiresome. The company has a massive cultural divide - the Pre IPO's and the After IPO's...not nice. If you are in the UK be prepared to see many of your hard earned sales get snatched by the US. There is zero protection to you and I witnessed this time and time again. Very little team spirit and as much of the culture is "you will be in the office" so go figure. If you are given a crap territory then good luck...BI is important to companies but not will not change their world. The company is very US centric. Endless deal win announcements which everyone in the company gets irrespective of deal size or location which can to a very large inbox.

Pros

The people. The only thing I miss are the people.

Cons

Operations management is atrocious. I stayed for the benefits, but my current employer pays better and has better benefits. The location is pretty, but traffic was awful. I have never been treated so poorly by a management team, or seen such a lack of professionalism. We were required to work long hours for end of quarter and I found myself burnt out in under a year. When I began seeking other employment I realized how over worked and under paid I was. They make the benefits package seem like it will make up for the under average salaries, however my benefits are better now and I make more money, have better benefits and actually see my family.

Pros

Great product, nice catered lunches every now and then. Great product training. Pretty casual workplace and good people to work with. Seattle's boot camp was fun and you learn a lot. This place is a springboard to other opportunities elsewhere, and not usually within the company

Cons

Ex-Dell management with management ideas from the early 90's. management uses Excel internally at a Business Intelligence Software company - irony? Measure on metrics and its kind of a sweatshop to make calls.
