Not the right place for experienced sales people, but could be good for those starting out in software sales
Pros
The brand and product really are amazing! If you're new to software sales this is a potentially great place to start your career; Good for someone moving out of a lead generation/sales support role.
Cons
Unless you're in the field sales team then this is a 'demo at your desk' kind of environment for a junior sales person. Unfortunately, despite having a great product, for the more ambitious sales person or those looking to be creative, follow a methodology/strategy and get stuck in with proper negotiations, this isn't the right place to be. It's more of a sales admin team. There are some people on the sales team with great attitudes and real potential, unfortunately there are also people who I would describe as arrogant and a little naive; it's extremely easy to be successful here (which is a positive) but it does mean that many of the sales team/middle management are not very skilled. There is also a very closed culture/cliquey groups.
