I love the innovation and new technology that is created by the company. People within our business sector are great to work with!

Cons

Lowest paid employees in the Bay Area, mainly because they pay you the same rate as their employees in Virginia. Jobs that are vacated are almost never filled in ;therefore, employees who stay become overloaded with work performing jobs of 2 - 3 people. There exists a clear discrimination between employees who have been with TE originally and employees from companies they have bought out.

Salaries are on national scale, so pay is some of the best in the area. Was very good talent incubator as such, but many starting to leave. 401K match best in class.

Cons

All promotions and majority of outside hires in my BU were reserved for minorities and females. It became a running joke. Bonus payouts impacted by this as well as senior management bonuses on quotas and retention as such. If you don't fit into their quota requirements for I&D, you can expect to be downsized, marginalized, and eventually pushed out the door so they can hire someone incredibly mediocre or relocate someone worldwide to take your role.
