      De-moralizing work environment

      Pros

      Nice work facilities. Friendly co-workers. Medical benefits are good. It could be a great place to work , but the company has went all-in as a global company which has essentially eliminated the feel of being an American company with American values and American work ethics.

      Cons

      Toxic work environment. Sub-standard pay, stingy on vacation, don't care about their employees. Layoffs initially gutted the workforce the last couple of years, but now people are leaving on their own. It is clear the facility is being moth-balled.

      Pros

      Operations staff is a dedicated and long tenured group. Most of the longer term professional staff are continually trying to make a positive difference in the organization.

      Cons

      Wages were well below industry average for my qualifications and education Senior management constantly focused on trying to find what people were doing wrong, rather than praising them for what they did right Way too many unnecessary and burdensome procedures that slow progress Employees who complain the loudest and to the highest manager get get the most attention

      Large company with many business units, some BU are great others are terrible

      Pros

      Large company with great ideas and strategy especially at very high level, plenty of innovation and challenges that keeps you entertained. Frequent restructuring their divisions creates opportunities for your career, salary is acceptable.

      Cons

      Unfortunately not all divisions operate similar, while in some BU they take good care of people, promote internally, develop their career others are terrible managing talent and seems to focus more on bringing their “pals” to work from outside than promoting from inside. Some BU have great strategy and performing very well, others are in bad shape resulting on no incentives, no motivation and lack of respect for skills and experience
