Pros
Good experence from your internships. Seems to be very into developing the talent that comes into Tyco Electronics. During intership will both give you work to highlight your skill set and therefore you will add to the company during your summer, while also stressing improvement of weakness when you need to imporve. There very little busy work (work that is the typical sterotype of intern work). The upper managemnet really tries to get the most of you during your summer there. Also the sturcue is very flat. During my short summer there I got to work with VP's daily and comtribute to meetings with the tresurar and meet the CFO.
Cons
While the internship pay was a great upswing from other job you have problly worked while in college, and is compedative with other companies the full time offer may be disaponiting. For all the training and exposuse they give there new workers, they really don't pay enough to get the highest level talent in the door. Cost of living in the area is high and it is helpful if you can live at home during your summer or even the first year or two if possiable. Other then the possiable pay disapointment, Tyco Electronics is a great company to start a carreer.
