      Pros

      $15B dollar company with diversified products and technologies, extensive reach into a variety of markets ranging from automotive to military. Career opportunities abound as well as locations to work.

      Cons

      Big company can also mean being "reduced" if deemed necessary. HR is slow to respond to applications and has no followup mechanism acknowledging receipt of interest.

      Pros

      Interesting diversity of products. Global reach. There are many worlds best practice programs in place to make the organisation run efficiently as possible. There is a relatively high amount of research and development as can be see by the investment of this category in the annual report.

      Cons

      Still quite US centric. Lack of purposeful strategy. Management by numbers. Can be quite low paid compared to other industry peers.

      Pros

      Global company that allows for a very diverse workforce on an every day basis. Offers decent pay & benefit options (not great, but on par with the norm.). Presented with good training opportunities that can help you grow inside or outside of this company. TE will pay for college on a set plan and for classes geared towards your job area. TE is a unique business that is involved on cutting edge of technology.

      Cons

      Poor mid-level management that often involves inexperience and selection of candidates that do not have any management education or background. It is very tough to advance from lower level positions. Minimal yearly rate increases/bonuses. More focus on metrics/numbers over employee satisfaction and customer experience. Downsizing/outsourcing leads to uncertainty within the organization.
