In store employees are usually good people.

Cons

In store employees are push into product pushers, needs based selling...wink wink, R.M.M micro managing even the breaks and has top people and everyone else must double up to compensate for those who don't. Poor leadership , morale, too many product pushing conferences and meetings, professes to be an innovator...micro managing= old school lack of innovation.

Pay was above average for the position. Also TD offers lots of benefits for part-time employees including health, vision, retirement and paid leave.

Cons

The customers can be awful and there is nothing you can do about it. TD really emphasizes "wowing" the customer and surveys customers and uses secret shoppers to assess each store's ability to wow their stores. The only customers that complete the surveys are the customers that love to complain or have a grudge so expect bad reviews. Strong emphasis on selling products like when stores had to sell a certain number of credit cards on a single day. It was crazy.

Great employee stock ownership program, nice to have on resume . Good reputation and a good stepping stone for your ur next job.

Cons

High sales target, low compensation compared to what we are expected to achieve in sales. High turnover because the well performing ones either get promoted or move on and the bad ones get fired.
