      Pros

      1) TD Waterhouse helps to pay for various financial industry courses. 2) Good on the job exposure to equity and fixed income markets - it is possible to learn quite a lot on the front lines. 3) Large office generally leads to a good social atmosphere. 4) Good benefits and decent bonus. 5) Easy job to leave at work and not worry about once you are home.

      Cons

      1) Individuals are made to feel like an expendable cog in a big wheel. 2) Poor advancement opportunities unless you are willing to relocate. 3) Management tends to play favourites. 4) Unrealistic goals and objectives. 5) Poor communication from management. 6) Customer service is no longer a priority.

      Pros

      Interaction at all levels. A lot of support for career development. Senior management is willing to listen to the ideas or suggestions from junior level employees. Great place to start or build a career.

      Cons

      Project integration and implementation can be regularly slow. There is a reluctance to share information amongst departments and usually requires a long formal process to gather the most tedious information or data.

      TD Bank is just alright

      Pros

      Working at TD Bank is a thankless job that pays better than a convenience store, and worse than most other banks.

      Cons

      Downsides include sporadic lunch breaks and an ever changing schedule, infrequent raises, limited praise; also, the job requires you to constantly deal with incompetent customers and fellow employees who are too busy texting to help you do your job well.
